Worship at First Presbyterian Church is traditional within the Presbyterian culture.  In our worship, you will find elements such as the call to worship, call to confession, liturgical prayers and the hearing of God's Word.

Music is very important to the life of our worship.  Our service is anchored by our 47 rank Casavant organ, played by our Director of Music Colin Andrews and Music Assistant Jennifer McNamee.  We have two choirs that provide music on a rotating basis, an adult choir and a children's choir.  Typically, on the fourth Sunday of each month, our church youth take over and share their musical talents with the congregation, both vocal and instrumental.  Livin' By Faith band also provides music for special occasions.

Dress styles vary at First Presbyterian Church.  While some of us like to dress in our "Sunday best", others prefer to be more casually dressed.  We welcome all people to worship with us and encourage you to be comfortable with your choice.

Parking is available in the church lot located at 8th and Franklin, or the city library lot south of the church.  The sanctuary is wheelchair accessible by entering through the loggia doors on Franklin Street.  Equipment for the hearing impaired and large print bulletins are available.  All of our services are audiotaped and copies are available on loan from the church office.
