Wee Care Childcare Program
Wee Care Childcare (WC) is a quality childcare program that provides a structured and nurturing environment. Care is available Monday-Friday from 7:00AM to 9:00AM and from 11:30AM to 5:30PM at a rate of $6.50 per hour. This program is for preschool-aged children 30 months – 5 years. Students enrolled in our two’s classes are eligible to participate in Wee Care even if they are not 30 months of age. Final Wee Care placement is at the discretion of the Assistant Director.
Curriculum
The childhood day is structured to provide the following:
- Activity Time
- Minds in Motion
- Circle Time
- Free Play Time
- Music Classes
- Gym or Outside Play
The curriculum of Wee Care is designed to compliment and reinforce that of the preschool’s. There will be one teacher per seven children. Morning and afternoon snacks are provided with milk to drink*. Children bring their own lunches if staying during lunchtime. Should an emergency occur and your child does not have a lunch, a lunch will be provided at a charge of $5.50. *Children with food allergies must provide their own snack.
A rest time is provided after lunch. Sleepers and children taking a quiet break will be separated!
Due to lunch and nap/rest time, 12:00-1:00pm is a locked block of time and will be billed as a $6.50 charge. Late pick-up fee after 5:30pm is $1.00 per minute.
Wee Care accepts CCDC vouchers.
